Debuting on Thursday, June 4th and concluding on Saturday, June 27th, Green-Wood, Mapp International Productions and Full Spectrum Inc. present DARK WONDERLAND, four long weekends of innovative performances to mark the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, and comment on the fantastical dual nature of New York City.
Performers include Alicia Hall Moran with Brandon Ross, Andrew D’Angelo & Pete Rende, Arturo Vidich, Jill Sigman with DJ Joro Boro, Mat Fraser & Julie Atlas Muz, Queen GodIs, Sacha Yanow, Samita Sinha & Graham Haynes, SLV (featuring Sandra Lilia Velasquez & Sean Dixon), Vanessa Anspaugh & devynn Emory, and Vernon Reid. The hosts will be Helga Davis and Alzo Slade. Burnt Sugar the Arkestra Chamber will be performing the weekend of June 25th to the 27th. Doors are at 7pm. Event begins at 7:30pm.
This event is appropriate for ages 18 and up. No outside alcohol or food is permitted. Chairs and benches are provided and all tickets are general admission. The main entrance is located at the gothic arches at 5th Avenue & 25th Street in Brooklyn. By public transportation from the Atlantic/Barclays Center stop in Brooklyn take the R train going towards Bay Ridge. Exit at the 25th Street Station and walk east one block to Green-Wood at 5th Avenue and 25th Street.
